Your Questions About Top 100 Rock Songs

Jenny asks…What is a hard rock song?I was just watching VH1's top 100 hard rock songs. There were a ton of great songs, but for some of the artists I thought they could have picked better songs for some of the artists. for example, white snake had "still of the night" as their song, but "Here I Go Again" Is there best song. So why didn't they chose that song? Is here I go again not a hard rock song for some reason? What exactly defines a hard rock song? or why wouldn't they chose a bands #1
